Joint Research Advancement Programme Freiburg-Nagoya 2026/27
The University of Freiburg and Nagoya University invite researchers at both institutions to submit proposals for their Joint Research Advancement Programme around a topic of common interest. The deadline for the submission of applications is 30 November 2024.
DAAD RISE: Find internships abroad [link in German]
Between October 15 and November 30, 2026, Bachelor students in the natural sciences, engineering and in computer science can find and apply for internships abroad and an accompanying scholarship via the RISE database.
DAAD-Promos: more funding available for 2025
Students who plan a self-organized stay abroad (internships for at least 6 weeks, or research for a final thesis for at least 4 weeks) can apply for DAAD Promos scholarships. The DAAD has allocated additional funding, therefore stays that begin in 2025 can still be supported. The application deadline is at least 4 weeks before the stay abroad begins. DAAD Chancen.Digital: Scholarships for a digital Master's degree
Students or graduates who aren't able to physically participate in study abroad due to health or familial reasons can apply for a scholarship to fund a fully digital or hybrid one- or two-year Master's degree abroad. The deadline varies depending on the country of choice.
