Research stays for the final thesis

If you would like to go abroad (outside the ERASMUS+ area and Switzerland) for your thesis, you may be eligible to apply for a DAAD-PROMOS scholarship.

Organization of the stay abroad
You will have to organize the stay abroad yourself. You are welcome to ask your institute, department or student council, as well as fellow students if there are any contacts abroad.

In addition, you can take a look at the IO's experience reports to get ideas what other students have already done abroad and how it was a organized. The reports are organized by country and then again by type of stay and subjects.
