In light of the dramatically increasing persecution of scholars worldwide, the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Science, Research, and the Arts (MWK) has, in collaboration with the Institute of International Education, created the Baden-Württemberg Scholar Rescue Fund [in German]. The program intends to provide an opportunity for persecuted scholars to continue their research at a Baden-Württemberg university, independent of their nationality or academic field.
