Study Abroad
While enrolled in a full-time degree program at the University of Freiburg, students have different options to study at another university abroad for one or two semesters, or to take classes both in Freiburg and at another institution in the same semester.
Exchange programs allow students who are enrolled at the University of Freiburg to study abroad at a partner university for 1 or 2 semesters. Students apply for an exchange at their own university. Learn more about the exchange options here.
If you do not participate in an exchange program, you always have the option to apply to universities individually as an international free moving student.
The University of Freiburg is part of the European Campus, which means students can take classes at any of the other member universities.
The University of Freiburg is part of the European University Alliance, which means students can take classes at the other member universities.
