Semesters abroad (3 - 6 months)

Self-organized free mover semesters abroad outside the ERASMUS+ programme countries and Switzerland, duration according to the lecture and exam periods at the host university (3 – 6 months).

Target group:

This call for applications is directed at degree-seeking students studying at the University of Freiburg who will study as a "free mover" at a university abroad (except ERASMUS+ programme countries and Switzerland and in case of a travel alert for the destination country*) for one semester. 'Free mover' means applying independently of any University of Freiburg exchange programmes, university, institutional or departmental partnership. The stay is organized independently. In the event of a travel warning for the destination country, funding would also not be possible. Please contact the ERASMUS colleagues at the International Office for the current status or if you are interested in studying in the ERASMUS+ programme countries or Switzerland.
